SSU: the official of the Supreme Court waited for the occupation and justified the aggression of the Russian Federation

The Security Service of Ukraine announced that it had gathered and exposed the head of one of the structural units of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, who justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, was waiting for a new offensive by the Russians and hoped for a quick occupation.

This was reported by the SSU press service.

The SSU reported that it has records of conversations in which the suspect denies the sovereignty of Ukraine and offers to hand over the southern regions, including Odesa and Kherson regions, to the occupiers.

Also, in communication with his subordinate, the official glorified the mercenaries of the Russian private military company «Wagner» and supported their participation in the war against our state, the SSU notes.

«In addition, the official of the judicial body proposed to launch a new attack on Ukraine from the northern direction to seize Lviv and neighboring regions. The figure expressed his hopes for the quick occupation of our country with the subsequent establishment of the Kremlin regime on its territory,» the message reads.

A linguistic examination initiated by the SSU confirmed the facts of the official's subversive activities in favor of the aggressor country.

During the search of the perpetrator's place of residence, the following was found:

• mobile phones and computers with evidence of criminal activities;
• almost 300 unaccounted cartridges for small arms;
• special technical means of illegal surveillance;
• pro-Kremlin literature;
• On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service notified the suspect of suspicion under part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (excuse, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants, committed by an official).

An investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The perpetrator faces up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

We will remind you that a resident of Snihurivka, who helped the occupiers sell auto parts stolen from the locals, will be tried in Mykolaiv Oblast.

It was also reported that a 44-year-old resident of the city of Snihurivka, Bashtanka district, was notified in absentia of suspicion of collaborative activity (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Another resident of Snihurivka, who cooperated with the occupiers during the occupation, tried to bribe law enforcement officers in the amount of a thousand dollars in order to «establish contact with them» and soften the course of the investigation.
