The Department of Housing and Communal Services of Mykolaiv stated that the residents of the residential complex «Riviera», where there is no heat, must either agree to the transfer of boiler houses to the city's balance sheet, or conclude a new contract for the supply of gas and pay the debt on their own.

Dmytro Bezdolnyi, director of the Dzhkhg, said this on the air of the MART TV channel.

As you know, as of December, heat energy is not supplied to the residential complex «Riviera» due to debts to NJSC Naftohaz.

According to Dmytro Bezdolnyi, the problems with starting the heat in the residential complex began last fall. At that time, the residents' debt to NJSC Naftogaz amounted to 3.5 million hryvnias, but the problem was partially eliminated with the participation of the city authorities.

«With the help of the city, an agreement was reached with «Mykolaivgaz», the debt was partially repaid, the supply was opened to them and they were able to start the heating season. The situation is much worse now. As early as the spring of 2023, Mykolaivoblteploenerho invited the management company to inspect the rooftop boiler rooms and tell them their condition. Recommendations were given, but they were not implemented,» said the director of the DHCS.

In the autumn of the current year, the issue of starting the heat was raised again, but now the residents fundamentally do not allow Mykolayivoblteploenerho specialists to inspect the boiler houses, because they oppose their transfer to the city's balance sheet.

The JKH has repeatedly invited representatives and Mykolaivoblteploenergo to jointly solve the problem. For its part, the KP offered to take the boiler house on its balance sheet along with repayment of the debt, which is more than 7 million hryvnias, but the residents have not yet given their answer.

«After the occurrence of this situation, 3-4 meetings were held in the DHCS, where we gathered this initiative group, explained what they needed to do, that we are not going to take anything away. It seems that they heard us, and now we are going through a situation when the heating is not started. At the moment, the debt is 7 million 700 thousand hryvnias. They also stand by their position that they do not want to transfer anything to the city. Now they have only two options: either they transfer the boiler house to the city with debts, and already start heating and gradually pay off the debts, or they, several legal entities, have to come to an agreement among themselves, divide the debts, enter into a restructuring agreement with Mykolaivhaz and then this matter will be settled. But at the moment, they cannot agree among themselves. The city is always ready to help, but actions are needed from them,» added Dmytro Bezdolnyi.

As you know, in 2020, after one of the residents of the «Riviera» residential complex began the illegal construction of an extension, cracks appeared on the building of the house.
