Mykolaiv hands over 80 newest drones to DIU fighters

Mykolaiv handed over 80 newest FPV drones to the servicemen of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
This was reported by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.
He noted that all drones are equipped with night vision cameras, which allows them to be used around the clock.
The mayor also added that he had talked to Andrii Yusov, who conveyed the thanks of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine to the community of Mykolaiv for their systematic assistance.
«Mykolaiv residents, this is a thank you! The city continues to help the defence forces. Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!», the mayor wrote.
It should be reminded that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, according to 2023, Mykolaiv's budget allocated 597 million hryvnias for the needs of the Armed Forces and transferred equipment worth another 80 million hryvnias.
In addition, in 2023, the budget of Mykolaiv allocated 400 million hryvnias for the military, of which 200 million hryvnias was spent on housing for military personnel serving in the Mykolaiv garrison.
In March, 57.6 million hryvnias was allocated from the free balance of the city budget to support the TRO and the Security and Defence Forces. And in April 2024, the city council members made changes to the city budget for 2024: about 107 million hryvnias was allocated for defence.
In September 2024, the Mykolaiv City Council donated material assistance worth more than 7 million hryvnias to the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
