Over the past three years, the Netherlands has provided almost €4 billion in military assistance to Ukraine. Another 6 billion is planned to be allocated in the near future.

This was stated by the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Ukraine, Alle Dorhout, in an interview with Ukrinform.

«Over the past three years, the Netherlands has been supporting Ukraine in various ways — morally, with humanitarian aid, reconstruction assistance, economic and military aid. Indeed, we have already received 3.8 billion euros, but we plan to provide another six billion. Thus, the Netherlands has allocated more than ten billion euros in military aid, of which almost four billion have already been received,» he said.

According to him, energy is one of the priorities in helping Ukraine. The Netherlands recently announced more than €209 million to restore Ukraine's critical infrastructure, including €45 million for the Energy Support Fund.

«For the Netherlands, energy is one of the priorities in helping Ukraine. We have already done a lot to support your country, and we are constantly looking for new opportunities. Colleagues are constantly in touch with the Ukrainian side to understand how else we can help Ukraine survive this winter,» the ambassador said.

Earlier it was reported that the Italian government had approved the allocation of the tenth military aid package for Ukraine. Details of the aid remain classified.
