This is reported on the government portal of the Netherlands.
It is noted that the Netherlands planned to sell these six fighters to Draken International. However, as a result of negotiations, the parties concluded that the sale and delivery of these F-16s «will not happen in the short term».
Therefore, they decided to transfer them to Ukraine in addition to the 18 previously announced. Another 18 aircraft are destined for the F-16 training center in Romania.
We will remind, the Pentagon expects that Ukraine will receive the first F-16 fighter jets already this year.
