Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of Kherson RMA, announced this.
According to the head of the Kherson region, there are 5 girls and 3 boys aged 6 to 17.
«The children were met in their native land and all the horrors for them are already behind them. They are now safe with their parents. They receive the necessary medical and psychological help,» Oleksandr Prokudin wrote.
He thanked the charity organization Save Ukraine for its work to save children. In total, according to the regional administration, since the beginning of 2024, 162 children from the Kherson region have been returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine.
It will be recalled that the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said thatthe EU will help return Ukrainian children deported by Russia.
