In 2026, the utility company «Pilot» plans to carry out routine repairs to at least 150 children's and sports grounds in Mykolaiv.

This was announced by Ihor Holovatyi, director of the utility company «Pilot», during a meeting of the planning and budget commission of the city council, NikVesti reports.

For this purpose, the budget provided 5.5 million hryvnias for the purchase of materials and tools.

The recipient of donations is the NGO “Mykolaiv Media Hub” (EDRPOU 45160758). According to him, the company formed the amount based on the actual volume of work in previous years. The number of sites repaired every year is not decreasing and is expected to be no less in 2026 than before.

«As for the current repairs, we focused on the volume of work performed by the company. We did it last year, we will do it, the year is not over yet. We will do it this year. This number is increasing from one year to the next, and it will increase in the next year, or at least it will not decrease,» said Ihor Holovatyi.

The funds also cover the purchase of a limited number of new play elements — slides, sandboxes, balancers and other equipment. At the same time, the company focuses on its own production.

«We produce everything we can ourselves to reduce costs,» explained Ihor Holovatyi.

As of August 2024, 93% of playgrounds in Mykolaiv were transferred to the balance sheet of the municipal enterprise «Single Customer Directorate «Pilot». A total of almost 19 million hryvnias was allocated from the city budget this year to repair 120 playgrounds.

Since the beginning of 2025, as of August, 98 playgrounds have been repaired in the city.
