Mykolaiv entrepreneur says she is building a luxury bunker in Portugal with a pond and pastures for «chickens and goats»

Elvira Paterson, an entrepreneur from Mykolaiv, plans to create an underground bunker town in Portugal where people can live their entire lives, regardless of what is happening on the surface.

She spoke about this in an interview on the YouTube channel «Anatolich».

According to her, the underground towns will be equipped with everything necessary for life. It will even be possible to keep animals here, from chickens to goats and cows, which were ordered in Georgia, and fish will be raised in the ponds.

«No one else is doing what I am doing. We are building bunker towns. No one in Ukraine is doing this now. This is a completely autonomous town that can function for an eternity underground. Do you remember Atlantis, which was found? We can become such a city underground, and we have everything to live right underground. Our bunker towns are equipped with farms underground. That is, you have a house underground and you have a hen that lays an egg, which you will eat for breakfast with your children underground. No one else is doing this, so I basically have no competition either in Ukraine or in Europe,» says Paterson.

From the outside, this town looks like an ordinary cottage complex: tennis courts, restaurants, swimming pools, a farm. But underground, there are two more floors that duplicate everything you need for life: kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms.

«Bunker Town — is a typical Kyiv elite town. Inside, you have one floor above ground, one or two floors below ground. So, when you enter our town, you have a tennis court, a restaurant, a swimming pool, nothing special. There is a farm — stables, chickens, goats, cows, everything grazes. We have a pond where we raise fish. Then there are two floors underground, which you use every day. Above ground, there is one bedroom, kitchen, toilet, and all this is duplicated underground,» she says.

The entrepreneur claims that you can live in such a bunker for life. Each house is connected to the neighbouring ones through a system of tunnels that lead to a common area.

«I have already bought the land nearby and plan to employ Ukrainian families. I want the boys who suffered in the war to be able to learn how to work on the farm,» adds Paterson.

She notes that she has virtually no competitors in the market for such projects. The only one that can be compared to her bunker towns is Donald Trump's «Eagle's Nest».

It should be noted that there is no official information about «Eagle's Nest» Donald Trump. The media mentioned that by 2026, an American company wants to build a luxury bunker in Virginia for 625 of the world's richest people.

The name «Eagle's Nest» comes from Kelsteinhaus, Adolf Hitler's alpine residence located on top of a cliff. Due to its location and inaccessibility, the term has become a popular metaphor for elite, gated and autonomous complexes.

According to Elvira Paterson, her company, iHaven , plans to build the first twenty underground houses in Portugal within two years.

In 2019, Elvira Paterson founded iHaven, a company that builds fortified underground facilities (bunkers) adapted for full-fledged modern housing.
