In 2024, the State Administration of the Courts of Ukraine spent more than 7.5 billion hryvnias on judicial remuneration. This is 4.6% or UAH 332.26 million hryvnias more than in 2023.
This is evidenced by the annual report of the ACU, according to NikVesti.
In particular, the average amount of judicial remuneration last year was 107.8 thousand hryvnias for local general courts, 121.5 thousand hryvnias for local specialised courts, and 234.7 thousand hryvnias for courts of appeal.
According to the report, 86% of the judiciary's budget was spent on salaries and wages, which is more than 18 billion hryvnias. Thus, the report calls the budget «socially oriented».
Another billion was spent on salaries of the Judicial Protection Service, and 483 million on salaries of the HQCJ, the National School of Judges, the SJA and its territorial offices.
