₴100 million allocated for road repairs and transport modernisation in Kherson

In 2025, 100 million hryvnias was allocated for the repair of roads and modernisation of public transport in Kherson.

The relevant order was signed by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko, according to NikVesti.

These funds were allocated to several areas:

  • 54.7 million hryvnias for the maintenance and development of electric transport;
  • 22.4 million hryvnias for maintenance and development of motor vehicles;
  • 23.4 million hryvnias other activities in the road sector.

In particular, in 2025, the company plans to spend money on traffic lights maintenance, repair of the trolleybus contact network, fuel purchases, and vehicle maintenance. The bulk of the money is allocated for road maintenance and public transport development, including vehicle fleet renewal and infrastructure improvements.

At the same time, part of the money is used to support municipal enterprises responsible for transport and roads. This includes paying salaries to employees, purchasing materials for repairs and ensuring stable operation of transport under martial law.

The Mykolaiv Region Restoration Service will spend 722 million hryvnias on road maintenance from 2024 to 2027.

At the same time, in 2025, the Service plans to complete the repair of five bridges that are still under construction in Mykolaiv region. Another seven bridges need to be repaired this year.
