Ukraine receives $1.1 billion from IMF to finance critical budget expenditures.

This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal on his Telegram channel.

According to him, this is the sixth tranche under the joint program within the EFF Extended Fund Facility.

«The funds have already been received into Ukrainian accounts. We will use them to finance critical budget expenditures. In total, Ukraine has already received $9.8 billion from the IMF under this program. We are grateful to the International Monetary Fund for its unwavering support for our state during the full-scale war», said Denys Shmyhal.

As a reminder, the World Bank announced a new aid package for Ukraine worth $750 million.
