As of December, the total amount of compensation to be paid to the residents of Mykolaiv for damaged property is 37 million 750 thousand hryvnias.

Dmytro Bezdolnyi, director of the Department of Housing and Communal Services, told about this on the air of the MART TV channel.

As noted by the Director of the Regional Committee of the City of Mykolaiv, 2,059 applications have been received so far.

«On average, residents submit about 50-70 applications per week. The commission has already processed 543 refusals, approved 866 applications for payment for the total amount of 37 million 750 thousand hryvnias, and 27 million 181 thousand hryvnias have already been credited to the owners. Other applications are still being processed by the bank,» he said.

It will be recalled that for September 2023, almost ₴1 million of compensation was awarded to the residents of Mykolaiv under the «eVidnovlennia» program.

As you know, Mykolaiv Oblast is among the top five oblasts where the largest number of applications for the «eVidnovlennia» program were submitted. However, the region has the lowest rates of consideration of these applications. Therefore, the Ministry of Reconstruction called on the Mykolaiv commissions to speed up their processing: «This depends on the ability of the owners to receive assistance in the shortest possible time for the restoration of housing before the autumn and winter cold».

Currently, there are already 30 commissions working in the Mykolayiv region to restore housing damaged during the full-scale invasion under the «eVidnovlennia» program.

As of the end of October, the number of applications for receiving compensation for damaged property within the framework of the «eVidnovlennia» program is 1,791 . Of the 917 processed, 44% were rejected.
