The Mykolaiv Regional Council included in its program of actions the overhaul of the kindergarten in Ochakiv: the work costs ₴14.8 million

The Mykolaiv Regional Council included in its program of actions for the next year the capital repair of the building of the «Sonechko» kindergarten in Ochakiv. These works were estimated at 14 million 880 thousand hryvnias.

This is stated in the Program of Economic and Social Development of the Mykolaiv Oblast for 2024, which was adopted by the deputies at the session of the Oblast Council on December 14, writes NikVesti.

Funds for these works are planned to be allocated from the state and regional budgets. The Department of Town Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction and Support of Development Projects of Mykolayiv Oblast was identified as the responsible executor of the works.

It is worth noting that the Program of Economic and Social Development of the Mykolaiv Region for 2024 does not provide for the mandatory restoration or reconstruction of the objects specified in it. Currently, we are talking about the plans of the regional government, since in order to carry out work on the objects listed in the program, funds must first be allocated from the regional budget or other sources of funding.

The overhaul of the kindergarten included, in particular, the repair of the interior, the improvement of the territory, the installation of a fence and gazebos, the installation of video surveillance cameras, heating systems, fire safety systems, the installation of playgrounds, as well as the reconstruction of the swimming pool, which has not been in operation for the past 30 years. The kindergarten was to be opened for visitors in May 2022, and the work on the facility should be completed by the end of the year.
