The NGO Mykolaiv Media Hub was established in 2023 to develop the media space in the region and support independent journalism. We bring together journalists, media experts and activists who strive to improve the quality of media content, increase media literacy and ensure freedom of expression.

Our mission is to promote the development of independent media, uphold democratic values and combat disinformation. We work to create a transparent media environment where every citizen has access to truthful, unbiased information.

The objectives of the NGO Mykolaiv Media Hub are:

• Creating media content and conducting media research.
• Supporting freedom of speech and independence of journalism.
• Conducting educational programmes, trainings and other events to improve the professional skills of journalists.
• Increasing media literacy and countering disinformation.
• Supporting project activities and administering NikVesti online media projects.

We actively cooperate with international organisations, adopting the best practices in the field of journalism and media support.
