"Plan B" is a project initiated by the Association of Independent Regional Publishers of Ukraine (AIRPU) with the support of the Norwegian Amedia foundation, aimed at supporting local media in wartime conditions. As part of this initiative, 50 Ukrainian newsrooms received financial assistance to stabilize operations, retain their journalistic teams, and continue informing their communities on vital issues.
The project serves as a kind of “safety net” for local journalism — especially for outlets located near the frontlines or those that lost their usual sources of income due to the war. "Plan B" not only offers temporary relief but also strengthens editorial resilience, helping media maintain public trust and independence during this critical time for the country.
