Oleksandr Usyk, the Ukrainian boxer, absolute world champion in the heavyweight division, will star in the American film Smashing Machine.

Dwayne «The Rock» Johnson stars as former MMA/UFC champion Mark Kerr, known as The Smashing Machine, in a story based on true events. The film will tell about the life of Mark Kerr and his rise in the world of MMA, which was then destroyed by his addiction to opioids.

Oleksandr Usyk will play Ukrainian fighter Ihor Vovchanchyn, who defeated Mark Kerr twice. However, the result of the first fight between them was later annulled.
