Mykolaiv boxer Derevianchenko returns to the ring and defeats Ramos by knockout

Screenshot.On the night of 2 July in Nashville, Tennessee, a graduate of the Mykolaiv Sports School, Serhii Derevianchenko, successfully returned to boxing after almost a year off. He met American Jeremy Ramos at the Texas Troubadour Theatre and won by technical knockout in the sixth round.
The fight started at an average pace, but with each round the Ukrainian boxer increased his advantage, writes «UP. Champion».
In the fourth round, after an accurate punch, Ramos went down on one knee, although he managed to continue the fight. In the fifth round, he was constantly defending himself and could not actively respond.
In the sixth round, Serhii Derevianchenko knocked his opponent down twice, after which the referee stopped the fight.
It should be noted that this is the 17th victory in Serhii Derevianchenko's professional career, 11 of which were by knockout.
Last year, Ukraine hosted the first boxing championship fight in more than two years. This sporting event was also a charity event, as its goal was to raise funds for the reconstruction of the Children's and Youth Sports School №2 in Mykolaiv. At the time, this initiative was supported by well-known Ukrainian boxers, including Serhii Derevianchenko.
