Every third Ukrainian refugee in Norway has already decided not to return to Ukraine.

This is evidenced by the Oslo Met study, which monitors the opinion of Ukrainian refugees about life in Norway, reports «European Truth».

It is noted that there are more than 65,000 Ukrainian refugees in Norway. Most of them are not sure if they want to go back home.

54% of surveyed Ukrainians are not sure whether they want to stay or return. 34% answered that they want to stay in Norway.

Public opinion researchers say: the position of Ukrainians who are currently unsure depends on how long the war will last and what Ukraine will be like after the war.

Recently, the Committee on Migration of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe appealed to the European states to extend the period of temporary protection that was granted earlier, or to find new ways for the legal stay of refugees from Ukraine in the territories of these countries.

We will remind that Poland promises to provide temporary protection to Ukrainian refugees without a passport. The country has extended protection, which is currently in effect until June 30.

In turn, Ireland is sharply reducing payments for Ukrainian refugees living in public housing.
