Ukrainian pilots flew over Luhansk: details of the attack on the control point of the Russian Federation

The commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Mykola Oleschuk, thanked the Ukrainian pilots for the effective strike on the command post of the «Center» group of the Russian military in the Luhansk region on April 13.

This is stated in the message of Mykola Oleschuk.

«After pausing, I thank the pilots of the Air Force for a successful, and most importantly, effective strike on an enemy object in the Luhansk region on April 13, 2024,» he wrote.

The commander noted that the Ukrainian pilots «did a great job» and returned to the base. And he also added that there will be more such strikes on the enemy's rear when Ukraine receives more missiles from Western partners.

The day before, the Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on occupied Luhansk, where it was possible to hit the command post of the «Center» group of Russian troops. Strathkom did not provide other details.

On the morning of April 13, Russian propagandists reported about explosions in Luhansk. Leonid Pasichnyk, Russia's representative in the occupied Luhansk region, claimed that the Armed Forces fired several rockets at the city's machine-building plant, where they were apparently planning to start production soon.

The Russian propaganda agency TASS, citing sources in the security forces, wrote that Luhansk was hit by two Storm Shadow missiles.
