Russian saboteurs hung a mined flag of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation on one of the buildings in the village of Ryzhivka, Sumy region.

This was announced by the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Kovalov on the air of the telethon.

«Yesterday, a Russian flag allegedly appeared on one of the buildings in Ryzhivka. Not only did this rag appear there, this flag was mined. The Armed Forces understood that there could be a deadly provocation from Russian saboteurs,» the spokesman said.

Defense forces demined the aggressor's flag thanks to drones and technology.

We will remind you that on the evening of June 9, Ramzan Kadyrov announced that his military allegedly captured the border village of Ryzhivka in the Sumy region. As DeepState analysts explained, in fact, the settlement is actually in the «gray zone» and Russian subversive intelligence groups (DRG) have already entered there. Moreover, the situation in the village has not changed since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

Later, Andrii Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the NSDC, emphasized that there are currently no active operations in the border region of Sumy, the occupiers tried to test the defense in the direction of Ryzhivka, but Ukrainian fighters inflicted fire damage on it.
