The «Freedom of Russia» Legion, RDK and the Siberian Battalion entered the Kursk and Belgorod regions of the Russian Federation as part of a joint operation.

This is stated in the statement of the «Freedom of Russia» legion.

The military was told that the soldiers are going to the elections in the Russian Federation to give Russian citizens a better future.

- We do not come to kill, erase, destroy or punish. We come to free you from want, poverty and fear. Free from the dictatorship of the terrorist organization that seized power and give your children a normal civilized future without sanctions. And most importantly, without war, the legion's statement says.

Ex-deputy of the State Duma of Russia, Ilya Ponomaryov, who currently lives in Ukraine, reported that fighters allegedly took control of the border village of Lozova Rudka in the Belgorod region. In addition, a shooting battle continues in Tyotkin, Kursk region.

We will remind you that in October 2023, the Ukrainian army created the «Siberia» battalion, which consists entirely of Russian citizens.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine plans to involve more Russian citizens, especially representatives of national minorities, to participate in the war against Putin.
