The best result since October 2022: in February, the Air Force shot down 13 Russian aircraft

Russian Su-34. Photo: depositphotos.In February 2024, the Air Force of the Armed Forces shot down 13 Russian aircraft.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In February, the following were shot down:
- 10 Su-34 fighter-bombers;
- 2 Su-35 fighters;
- 1 A-50 long-range radar detection and control aircraft.
The Ministry of Defense noted that this is the best result since October 2022.
«We are grateful to our soldiers for their efficient work. And to our partners — for strengthening the air defense capabilities of Ukraine. Together we will win,» the agency added.
We will remind, on Thursday, February 29, the Ukrainian military shot down three Russian Su-34 fighters. Two planes were shot down in the morning on the Avdiiv and Mariupol directions. Another one was destroyed in the eastern direction on the night of February 29.
