New water supply system in Domanivka: the first tender is due to be announced by the end of May

The Domanivka community plans to announce a tender for the construction of the first phase of the new water pipeline by the end of May. For now, the project involves a 7-kilometre supply network to Domanivka.

This was announced in a comment to NikVesti by Viktor Vlasiuk, the head of the Domanivka community.

The community head noted that the Danish government, through the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO), has allocated €1.5 million for the project. The Domanivka community has also set aside funding: €200 million.

The recipient of donations is the NGO “Mykolaiv Media Hub” (EDRPOU 45160758). «The funds have been allocated, the session has been held, and they have been set aside. But the mechanism will only come into effect once the tender has been announced,» said Viktor Vlasiuk.

The community leader added that training is currently being conducted with NEFCO: they are working with consultants on the tender process.

«By the end of May, we will reach the final stage — the tender for this work will have been announced,» noted Viktor Vlasiuk.

He also reported that they plan to completely replace the networks in Domanivka, but for now, the focus is on 7 kilometres of the supply network.

«For now, this will involve 7 km of supply network: pipes, a pumping station, and solar panels — all of which will be brought to Domanivka. There will be underground reservoirs with a pumping station, and the distribution network will be connected to the old network; however, the overall plan is to completely replace the network in Domanivka,» added the community leader.

It was previously reported that by the end of 2026, a new main water pipeline will be built in Domanivka as part of a partnership with the Kingdom of Denmark and the international corporation NEFCO.
