Sienkevych said that a new director of «Mykolaivvodokanal» is to be appointed by the end of the year

The mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, said that a competition for the position of director of the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivvodokanal» would be held in the near future.

He said this in a comment to NikVesti.

Currently, Vasyl Telpis is acting director, temporarily heading the company until an open competition is held.

According to the mayor, the selection of a new director will be carried out in several stages, and the final decision will be made by the supervisory board.

«In the near future, I think, perhaps next week, an all-Ukrainian competition for the selection of a director will be announced. After that, a shortlist of 4-5 candidates will be formed, with whom the supervisory board will interview. Then a decision will be made and a contract signed. I really hope that we will have a new CEO by the new year. This is necessary because there must be a person who will take responsibility and work according to the new rules of the Supervisory Board», said Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.

As a reminder, on 15 October 2025, after a long illness, Borys Dudenko, CEO of the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivvodokanal», passed away. He had been at the helm of the company since 2016.
