The Ukrainian Navy has been replenished with new Combat Boat 90 boats provided by Sweden and Norway.
This was announced by the Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Oleksii Neizhpapa.
These boats are already in service with the Ukrainian Navy, and now their number has increased to form a full division of this equipment.
Combat Boat 90 (CB90) is one of the world's best high-speed boats. They are in service in many countries, including NATO member states. The boats are distinguished by their high speed, manoeuvrability and reliability, and are used for military landings, patrolling, coastal defence and protection of civilian shipping.
The crews of the new boats have already been trained to use all the equipment effectively, and the vessels themselves are equipped to meet the requirements of modern naval warfare.
«I personally tested Combat Boat 90 in action. I am convinced that these boats will become a powerful tool in the hands of our soldiers», said Oleksii Neizhpapa.
As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law that allows units of the Ukrainian Navy to be sent to other countries during martial law.
