«Together we are many, we cannot be defeated» — Head of the Office of the Danish Embassy congratulated Mykolaiv residents on the City Day

Head of the Danish Embassy's office in Mykolaiv, Jakob Hansen, congratulated the citizens on the City Day with words from the Orange Revolution anthem.

He made the greeting during a solemn celebration in Chestnut Square, according to NikVesti.

«The Kingdom of Denmark congratulates you on your City Day! You inspire me every day. I see the number of people who come back to Mykolaiv every time. This morning we launched a regatta on the waterfront, it is an incredible joy to see the development of Mykolaiv. Also today, the representatives of France are here, and it is clear that France, Denmark and the whole of Europe are supporting Ukraine together. Happy City Day, there are many of us together — we cannot be defeated!» the diplomat said.

As a reminder, the quote «Together we are many, we cannot be defeated» comes from the famous Ukrainian anthem song of 2004. It was written by the band «GreenJolly» and became an unofficial symbol of the Maidan protest movement, representing the unity and invincibility of Ukrainians.
