Seven houses destroyed in Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv due to shelling, 125 more damaged

As a result of the Russian shelling of Mykolaiv's Korabelnyi district on 2 August, seven private houses were destroyed and 125 others damaged.

The head of the Korabelnyi district administration, Oleksandr Tsukanov, said this during a live broadcast on Facebook, according to NikVesti.

According to him, more than 500 windows and 85 roofs were damaged in private houses. Windows and balconies in high-rise buildings were also damaged.

«The last shelling in the Korabelnyi district took place on 2 August 2025. A rocket strike completely destroyed 7 private houses and damaged another 125. In total, 564 broken windows and 85 damaged roofs were recorded. In addition, 27 high-rise buildings were damaged — 545 windows and 770 balconies and loggias were damaged», said Oleksandr Tsukanov.

Shelling of Mykolaiv on 2 August

Russia launched a missile attack on Mykolaiv at 22:01 on 2 August. After the attack, a fire broke out in one of the city's districts. All services were sent to the scene, said Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said that a private house was destroyed and a number of other buildings, including high-rise buildings, were damaged. Later, the State Emergency Service showed the consequences of the attack on Mykolaiv.

The missile strike injured 7 people and destroyed three private houses. Another 23 private houses, 12 apartment buildings, six cars, a post office, and a building materials store were damaged.

The shelling also damaged the building of the sports complex «Vodolii».
