179 companies joined the White Business Club in the Mykolaiv region

As of mid-July 2025, the White Business Club (WBC) includes 8,882 Ukrainian companies, 179 of which are registered in Mykolaiv region.

The WBC is a list of companies that demonstrate transparency in doing business: they pay taxes on time, submit reports, have no ties with Russia and meet a number of other criteria. The register was launched by the Tax Service in 2024 to create a community of honest taxpayers.

In the first half of 2025, 4,113 companies joined the Club's list, while 3,228 left. Despite the rotation, the total number of members has increased: at the beginning of the year, there were 7,997.

The majority of WBC members are in the trade sector — 22% of all companies. The manufacturing industry is in second place (16%), and the agricultural sector is in third place (14%). Kyiv is the leader in terms of the number of companies, followed by the Dnipropetrovsk region, and the Mykolaiv region is among the regions with lower but stable dynamics.

The State Tax Service notes that participation in the Club provides companies with certain benefits, such as reduced tax pressure and fewer inspections. A draft law is currently being prepared to clarify the entry criteria and simplify access to the list, in particular, in terms of salaries and tax burden.

At the same time, experts have comments on the initiative. In particular, the Economic Expert Platform points out that the approach to forming the list needs to be revised, and the Club itself currently covers only 0.63% of Ukrainian companies, which does not fully reflect the level of business integrity in the country.

As a reminder, 3.6 thousand individual entrepreneurs (IEs) closed in Mykolaiv region in the first six months of 2025.

In addition, since the beginning of 2025, the number of closed sole proprietorships in Mykolaiv region has exceeded the number of newly established ones: almost a thousand entrepreneurs ceased their activities in five months.
