The Verkhovna Rada has approved the extension of martial law and mobilisation for another 90 days.
This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak.
This decision was supported by 320 MPs. This will be the 16th extension of martial law.
According to Yaroslav Zhelezniak, both laws will come into force on 7 August, so martial law and mobilisation will continue until 5 November.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine does not plan to introduce mobilisation from the age of 18, as some international partners expect.
To recap, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that although he does not consider himself to be the best leader for Ukraine, he has a unique experience gained over more than three years of full-scale war, and this experience is now critically important for the country.
