Another 1200 bodies returned to Ukraine

On Sunday, 16 June, the bodies of fallen Ukrainian servicemen were returned to Ukraine. Another 1200 bodies were repatriated to Ukraine.

This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

It is noted that all the necessary examinations and identification of the bodies will be carried out in the near future. The repatriation was carried out within the framework of the agreements reached in Istanbul.

On 13 June, the bodies of 1200 fallen soldiers were also returned to Ukraine. On 11 June, Ukraine returned the bodies of 1212 fallen soldiers.

In addition, as agreed in Istanbul, the first stage of a new prisoner exchange took place on 9 June. Ukrainian defenders under the age of 25, including wounded and seriously injured, were returned.
