The company «Nibulon» has started cultivating agricultural land near the village of Lepetykha in Bashtanka district, which has not been used since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Non-technical surveys have been completed on 584 hectares, and another 913 hectares remain in operation, the company's press service said.

In total, the company plans to return more than 2,200 hectares to cultivation in the region. After clearing some of the fields, tillage has already begun in preparation for sowing winter crops.

The company says that the land plots are state-owned and subleased to «Nibulon».

«Given the limited resources, the state is unable to promptly clear all mined and contaminated areas, so responsible agricultural producers, including «Nibulon, take the initiative to restore security and return the land lost to agricultural activities,» the company says.

This, as the company emphasised, is part of the company's long-term strategy to expand its land bank and restore the region's agricultural potential.

As a reminder, as of October 2024, «Nibulon» has cleared 5.5 thousand hectares of mines in Mykolaiv region on its own. This includes 5,500 hectares in Snihurivka, Shyroke, Novopavlivka and Novopetrivka territorial communities.
