Mobile anti-violence team in Mykolaiv region receives transport from Denmark

The Kryve Ozero community in the Mykolaiv region received a car for a mobile anti-violence brigade with the support of Denmark.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

The Social Service Centre of the Kryve Ozero Village Council received a Toyota RAV4 car from the Danish Refugee Council with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

The car will be used by a mobile team to respond to cases of domestic and gender-based violence and provide psychological assistance to community members.

As of September 2024, an increase in reports of domestic violence was recorded in Mykolaiv Oblast, especially among families where parents returned from the war.
