Activists in Odesa have decorated the city's main Christmas tree with inscriptions reminiscent of Ukrainian prisoners of war.

This was reported by a correspondent of NikVesti.

On the fence around the city's main Christmas tree, posters appeared with the following inscriptions: «captivity = hell», «when is the exchange?», «remember at what cost you are alive», «captivity kills».

It should be noted that rallies in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war in Odesa and Mykolaiv take place every Sunday.

Probably, in this way, relatives and concerned residents seek to remind those who are held captive during the holidays.

As a reminder, in 2024, 39 servicemen from the Mykolaiv region were released from captivity in Russia.
