More than 1,000 civilians were detonated by mines in the de-occupied territories

Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the de-occupied territories, 1,083 civilians have been blown up by Russian landmines. Of them, 333 died and 750 were injured.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

Kharkiv, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions remain the most polluted freed territories.

It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of pyrotechnics, 26,955 units of explosive objects have been removed and destroyed in the region.

Also, with the help of manual, mechanized, canine demining, territories with a total area of more than 10,000 hectares were surveyed.

In addition, in 2024, the number of accidents with explosive objects in the Mykolayiv region halved compared to last year: in 2023, 64 were recorded, and for this year - 26.
