Demining of the Mykolaiv region: more than 10 thousand hectares of territories were surveyed

Demining of the Mykolaiv Oblast, Photo: «NikVesti»As of the end of November this year, Mykolaiv region remains one of the most mined areas of Ukraine.
This was reported by the State Service for Emergency Situations in the Mykolaiv region.
It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of pyrotechnics, 26,955 units of explosive objects have been removed and destroyed in the region.
Also, with the help of manual, mechanized, canine demining, the territory on the total area of 10,163 hectares was surveyed, 12,210 pyrotechnicians and identifiers were involved.
Earlier, it was also reported that in the Mykolayiv region, pyrotechnicians surveyed about 200,000 hectares of territories, of which 23,000 hectares required demining.
In particular, 1,105 power lines, 569 kilometers of railways, 455 kilometers of highways, 136 kilometers of gas pipelines, and 500 kilometers of irrigation canals were demined.
