More than 500 mobile and stationary fire groups are on round-the-clock combat duty and destroy enemy drones and missiles over Mykolaiv Oblast.

This was reported by the press service of the 19th Mykolaiv Public Order Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine.

«These soldiers are an invisible shield protecting the peaceful sky of Ukraine. To strengthen the air defense system, more than 500 mobile and stationary fire groups are on combat duty, continuously destroying enemy air targets,» the fighters said.

«We understand that every step we take is the safety of thousands of people. We are always ready, for us it is more than a job, it is a responsibility for the life of every citizen,» said one of the fighters with the pseudonym «Ramses».

The fighters also add that they go to combat positions even before the sirens sound in order to repel enemy attacks.
