Odesa received ten Mercedes (Euro-4) buses from the sister city of Istanbul, but due to difficulties in the documentation, the transport cannot enter city routes.

This is reported by Dumska.

The publication noted that the new transport is modern, comfortable, adapted for the transportation of people with disabilities.

The buses were transferred to the depot of KP Odesmiskelektrotrans as humanitarian aid, because of this it is impossible to use them for paid passenger transportation.

Also, the buses transferred from the sister city of Regensburg, which arrived in Odesa in the spring of this year, have not yet entered the routes.

«They were brought in as humanitarian aid, if they are released on the route, criminal responsibility is provided for that,» Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov noted at the time.

Today, there are 20 modern buses in the Odessa depot, which cannot be taken on city roads. The Odesa City Hall said that they are continuing negotiations with the central authorities in order to adopt the relevant changes.

Previously, NikVesti reported that three SOR NB 12 buses from Prague, which were handed over by the DPP transport company, had arrived in Mykolaiv.

In addition, autonomous trolleybuses were launched in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv. This was reported by the correspondents of NikVesti.

Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych personally checked how the new route functions. According to him, the route allows you to get from Aivazovskyi Street and Korabeliv Avenue to the railway station, from where you can transfer to other trolleybuses.
