969 residents of Mykolaiv fell ill with COVID-19: the first death from the virus was recorded

This was reported in the city health department.
Over the past three weeks, from August 13 to September 2, 969 cases of coronavirus were registered, 107 people were hospitalized, including 1 fatal case.
The health department also reminded citizens about vaccination. During August, 408 people were vaccinated in the city.
«People from risk groups, as well as anyone who wants to, can get vaccinated by making an appointment with their family doctor (if 6 months have passed since the last vaccination). In Mykolaiv, all Primary Medical Care Centers are equipped with the omicron-specific vaccine «Comirnaty» (manufacturer «Pfizer»),» the message says.
Earlier it was reported that during the summer the incidence of COVID-19 in Ukraine increased almost 13 times. More than 25,000 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in August alone.
