Shelters continue to be set up in educational institutions in Mykolaiv. One of these renovated warehouses was recently opened in another school in the city.
The director of the school showed NikVesti what the shelter for children in the educational institution looks like today.
Repair of the shelter with the help of the necessary equipment was implemented with co-financing from the city budget and donor organizations.
«In our educational institution, the work on the repair and equipment of the shelter has been completed. The work was carried out for three months, during which time the ventilation system, water supply, toilet rooms, medical room were installed. The shelter has 9 rooms where children can stay,» the director said.
The room is designed for 225 people. The ventilation system in it is adjusted to different seasons and the air temperature outside.
«The ventilation system is designed for summer and winter. «Winter» means that the air supplied from the street warms up to a given temperature,» the school director noted.

It was previously reported that 54 shelters are planned to be installed in kindergartens, schools and lyceums in Mykolaiv over the next few years.
As you know, there are already 15 full-time kindergartens in Mykolaiv, where more than three thousand children study.
We will remind you that the outflow of students was recorded in the schools of Mykolaiv this year. Compared to the last academic year , the number of schoolchildren decreased by 3,300. Vitaliy Kim, the head of Mykolaiv RMA, explained that the city's schools work online because they are still targets for the Russian army.
In addition, in 2022, as a result of military events and the lack of a sufficient number of children in the Mykolaiv region, 16 kindergartens stopped their work.
