De-Russified Mykolaiv region: the second stage of the street renaming process has begun in Snihurivka region

In the Snihurivka community, after public discussions, a final list of options for new street names to be renamed was formed. The second stage of electronic voting has begun.

The corresponding list is published on the website of the Snihurivka city territorial community.

Voting within the framework of the II stage will last from December 11 to 25, 2023.

You can vote for only one variant of the name for each of the toponyms, after which the vote is considered final, and you cannot change it later. The new name of this or that street will be assigned taking into account the largest number of votes.

In particular, among the proposals, the names of two soldiers who fell at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, residents of Snihurivka — Oleksandr Nikulyshev and Yurii Voitovych — are being considered.

The voting form is posted on the website of the Snihurivka City Council in the section: «Renaming names of toponyms» along with the list of streets to be renamed at the link.

Proposals are also accepted at rada-sng@ukr.net.

In particular, the city administration reminded the residents that changing the name of the street does not oblige them to change the registration of the address of residence, reissue documents for the right of ownership, reissue the assigned subsidies and does not threaten citizens with any financial costs.

We will remind that 42 streets in Snihurivka hromada will be renamed as part of the law on decolonization.
