This was reported by first deputy mayor Vitalii Lukov in a comment to NikVesti.
At the same time, he added, the tenant of the «Kazka» children's town will install a Christmas tree and a winter ice rink on its territory at his own expense.
«There will be no holidays, no Christmas trees. The only thing we know is that our partner, who is in Kazka, has an easement agreement. Instead of the summer children's carousel, he will install a small Christmas tree there and possibly an ice rink as part of his activities on the territory of the children's town. These are all funds of the entrepreneur. There is a storage there, so in general it will be the safest place,» Vitalii Lukov said.
We remind that last year in Mykolaiv, the main Christmas tree of the city was not installed either. Instead, on December 16, a «military-style» Christmas tree appeared in the center of Mykolaiv — it was created from camouflage netting for the military. It was used to cover the sandbags that were used to protect the monument to St. Nicholas in case of Russian shelling back in October.
After that, residents of Mykolaiv came to the «Indomitable Christmas Tree» and decorated it with New Year's toys and wishes. Later, they were transferred to the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local History.
