Shmyhal instructs to redistribute electronic warfare funds to frontline regions

A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sets up an electronic warfare device: ArmyInformElectronic warfare equipment will be redistributed to the frontline regions. Regional leaders have been ordered to coordinate with the military.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
According to the Prime Minister, the main goal is to protect civilians from constant attacks by Russian drones.
«It is very important to protect the population from constant drone attacks. He instructed the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Ministry to ensure coordination with the military and promptly redistribute electronic warfare assets to the frontline regions. At the same time, he stressed the importance of securing evacuation routes,» Denys Shmyhal wrote.
Earlier, the spokesperson for the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Air Force, Yurii Ihnat, announced that local authorities could allocate resources for the purchase of electronic warfare equipment to protect themselves from Russian drones and missiles.
