By the end of 2024, the city planning department is going to build a new lyceum building in Varvarivka

The City Planning Department of the Mykolaiv City Council announced a tender for the new construction of the destroyed building of Lyceum No. 60 in Varvarivka.

This is evidenced by the data of the ProZorro public procurement system, NikVesti reports.

106 million 860 thousand hryvnias are planned to be spent on construction. According to the tender documentation, with these funds, the contractor, in addition to erecting a part of the building of the educational institution, must equip it with the necessary equipment and furniture: equipment for conducting physical education classes, laptops, desks, multimedia boards with projectors, etc.

The customer plans to complete all works on the new construction of the lyceum in a little more than a year, by December 31, 2024.

We will remind that in July, the city planning department signed a contract with the limited liability company Concord Project for the construction project of Lyceum No. 60 in the amount of 1 million 490 thousand hryvnias.

The educational institution was destroyed in July 2022. As a result of the attack, one of the buildings of the lyceum was destroyed, and the playground nearby was also damaged.

It should be noted that the construction of the lyceum in Varvarivka is one of the 12 objects of the Mykolaiv Oblast that were damaged as a result of Russian aggression, which claim 1 billion 960 million hryvnias from the Fund for liquidation of the consequences of armed aggression.

As reported, they want to rebuild Lyceum No. 60 for 200 million hryvnias by the end of 2028. This amount is indicated in the capital expenditures of the Mykolaiv budget.

It should be noted that the educational institution was the first object of the city program Warm House. After renovation, it was opened in the fall of 2018. Note that the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on another building of the institution.
