Kuleba goes to China to negotiate on ending the war

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba is going to China on July 23-25 to hold negotiations on bilateral relations and ways to a just peace against the background of Russian aggression.

It is noted that Dmytro Kuleba will visit at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yi.

«During the meetings and negotiations, the parties will exchange views on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations. The main topic of discussion will be the search for ways to stop Russian aggression and China's possible role in achieving a stable and just peace,» the message reads.

We will remind that the former US President Donald Trump, after a conversation with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, declared his desire to organize negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

We will also remind you that at the beginning of July, Trump's advisers presented him with their plan to end the war in Ukraine. He predicts that Trump may stop the supply of military aid to Ukraine if it refuses peace talks, in return Moscow will be warned that any refusal to negotiate will lead to increased support for Kyiv.

Trump's staff said that the priority of his potential second term would be to end the war between Russia and Ukraine as soon as possible.

In turn, more than half of Ukrainian citizens believe that it is possible to conclude a peace agreement with the Russian Federation only by completely de-occupying the territory of Ukraine.

In July of this year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine cannot agree to an immediate ceasefire, because it does not trust the head of Russia's aggressor country. He emphasized that one cannot simply talk about a ceasefire, a plan is needed.
