At that time, Serhii Korenev and Ihor Filippov, a governance expert at the Recovery and Development Office, agreed to raise €14 million.
Earlier, Serhii Korenev, as the head of the recovery working group, together with Ihor Nabatov, First Deputy Director of the Housing and Communal Services Department, took part in a workshop in Barcelona. There, they studied approaches to urban planning, housing reconstruction and the cluster recovery method.
It should be noted that Serhii Korenev spent 45 days in Tokyo, where he learnt about reconstruction practices and the waste recycling system.
Also in September, Serhii Koreniev presented the first award — «The Mykolaiv City Badge of Honour»— to the Ambassador of Denmark to Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, which became part of the city's dialogue with international partners.
