Vitaliy Kim, a deputy of the Mykolaiv City Council from the «Servant of the People» and head of the regional military administration, responded to the author of the «Joker» telegram channel, who announced «a coup» at a city council session the day before.

His statement was made during a hybrid session of the Mykolaiv City Council today, 30 October, according to NikVesti.

At the beginning of the session, the deputies spent about an hour settling their relations, making accusations against each other. In particular, political clashes occurred between the MPs and the newly formed group «Sanation».

At the same time, the day before, the telegram channel «Joker» published a post announcing a coup that was to take place at the session.

Vitalii Kim called this situation a sham and a time drag, which the deputies, who were ready to work constructively, were forced to listen to.

«I was listening carefully to all this sham. Telegram channels said there would be a coup. Well, like the group, like the coup. It's ridiculous. It's a delay for people. A certain number of deputies have planned to work here and are forced to listen to this rubbish out of tolerance. In fact, there is an investigation underway, where they are legally analysing who voted how. I am against discussing this issue in a formal way. I want us to work, and if the group wants to prove something, contact me personally in a working manner and find out. There is no need to use my personal time and that of all the other deputies for your own needs. Let's get down to work, put our hands down (a deputy signing up for a speech with a hand up emoji, — note), and let's work. People who are watching the session and waiting for their land issues do not care about why a group of people did not properly draw up documents in the middle of the city council. It should be noted that on 30 October, for the first time since 24 February 2022, Mykolaiv City Council partially met for an offline session. Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych offered the deputies a hybrid format of work, like their colleagues in Dnipro.
