The Ukrainian leader announced this on social media.
He noted that during the conversation, the politicians discussed «what was announced in Moscow».
«Our common position with our partners is absolutely clear: the war must end. And it must be a fair end. European leaders also took part in the conversation, and I am grateful to each of them for their support. We discussed what was announced in Moscow. Ukraine will definitely defend its independence. We all need a lasting and reliable peace. Russia must end the war it started,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Some European leaders also took part in the conversation.
As a reminder, on the morning of 6 August, US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff arrived in Moscow for a visit.
According to «RIA Novosti», immediately after arriving in Moscow, Vitkoff met with the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev. Together they visited the restaurant «Voshod» in the park «Zariaddia», after which the delegation went to the Kremlin.
