Teams are working: Zelenskyy says he plans to meet with Trump at NATO summit

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced his intention to meet with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the NATO summit to be held in The Hague on 24-25 June.
He said this in an interview with Sky News.
«Yes, I am planning to. I don't know how it will go, to be honest with you. The teams are working, yes, but we are going to meet,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
In response to a clarifying question about the time of the talks, the President said that the relevant teams were still agreeing on the details.
According to AFP, citing a senior source in the President's Office, the meeting is scheduled for the afternoon in the Netherlands. The main topics of the talks are the strengthening of sanctions against Russia and the purchase of weapons for Ukraine.
As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine should be part of NATO, as it is an important and beneficial ally for the Alliance. At the same time, he acknowledged that joining NATO is currently impossible.
