Konstantin Kosachev, photo: TASSRussia is planning to hand over its developments within the framework of a memorandum on conflict resolution to Ukraine in the coming days.
This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Konstantin Kosachev, according to the Russian RBC news agency.
According to him, work on the document is in its final stages. He expects that these proposals will soon be handed over to the Ukrainian side.
«Work on the memorandum is underway, firstly, yes, it is in the final stages. Secondly, I expect that the relevant Russian developments will be handed over to the opposite side in the coming days. I have this information at», said Kosachev.
As a reminder, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recently stated that the second round of peace talks with Ukraine would take place, and that Moscow was in the final stages of drafting a memorandum. He also stated that holding elections in Ukraine would be «the best option» to determine who could sign a peace agreement on behalf of Kyiv.
Earlier, the European Commission confirmed that the next direct talks between Ukraine and Russia could be held with the participation of the European Union and the United States.
