US President Donald Trump. Photo: The White House, XUS President Donald Trump has once again called on the leaders of Ukraine and Russia to end the war.
He was quoted by Reuters.
Last night, the US Embassy in Kyiv received information about a potential large-scale air attack in the coming days and called on Americans to be as cautious as possible and ready to act in case of an alarm.
Journalists asked Donald Trump what he would like to say to the Russian leader in response to these messages to the embassy.
In response, Trump said:
«I have a message for both sides: end this war. We are losing 5,000 soldiers every week, both Russian and Ukrainian, and many other people. End this stupid war. This is my message to both of them».
As a reminder, US Vice President J.D. Vance said that the Russian side was making excessive demands when discussing the possible end of the war in Ukraine. Earlier, Trump also claimed that in negotiations to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian war, the United States is closer to one of the parties. However, he did not want to name this party.
